Facilities are not provided, so travellers must arrive fully self contained and prepared for changing weather conditions. Lake Aviemore provides excellent swimming and paddleboarding opportunities, while surrounding hills offer scenic walking and photography locations. The open landscape delivers outstanding sunrise and sunset conditions across the water.
